Prince of Peace offers baptisms for all people from infants through
adults who have not been baptized. We offer free baptisms as it is not
right to charge for that which Jesus gave us and commanded us to do:
"Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has
been given to me. Therefore go make disciples of all nations, baptizing
them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.'" (Matthew
28:18-20, NIV). As those who take God's Word seriously, we baptize according to God's Word. Those who desire baptism for themselves, or their children, are asked to meet with the pastor. At that point we will discuss what baptism is, why it is necessary, what benefits it offers and what it means for our lives. |
